Café De Jonge Wees at Looiersgracht 144 is a typical neighborhood brown café where a rich variety of beers, jenevers, and bar snacks form the foundation of that famous Amsterdam coziness. Ajax is always on, and with the sunny terrace and versatile layout, you can enjoy a great party both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, Café De Jonge Wees is the sister establishment of Proeflokaal A. Van Wees, which means all jenevers served here in the Jordaan come from the A. Van Wees distillery De Ooievaar in Amsterdam.

Besides a wide range of A. Van Wees jenevers, Café De Jonge Wees offers 9 beers on tap and 23 different bottled beers. You can also order popular spirits, and we have several excellent wines available. All of this is served by our knowledgeable bartenders who can tell you all about the good stuff.

Café De Jonge Wees is open Monday to Friday from 16:00 and on weekends from 12:00. On weekdays, we serve the last round at 01:00 and on weekends at 03:00.
